We will then check availability for your chosen date. Upon confirmation of availability, please complete the booking form and return it, with your deposit to:

The deposit when hiring exclusive use of the lake is £600.  The balance of £600 is due no later than 8 weeks before your holiday commences. We will send you a reminder.  When booking exclusive use of the lake non fishing party members (if taking the total number to over 5 people) are welcome at a cost of £150 per person per week. All cheques should be made payable to scarper carper. Or via PayPal.

Note: It is important that you return the booking form and deposit within 7 days, as we can only reserve your place for that period. Failure to do so may result in your place being offered to another customer.

On receipt of the form and your deposit we will send you confirmation of your booking. Please make sure all details are correct.

All bookings are for weekly stays from Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise stated. Access to the lake is permitted from 2pm on the day of arrival. You are required to leave the complex by 10am on the following Saturday.

RESPECT

Lac de Paix is set in breathtaking French countryside. It is important to us that all our guests respect the environment, including the lake's inhabitants. Our aim is to create a relaxing, quality venue with outstanding fishing. To save any potential misunderstandings or embarrassments the following rules apply at Lac de Paix.

FISHERY RULES

No braided mainline. Minimum mainline BS of 14lbs and maximum of 17lbs.  Hooklinks 15lbs. Micro barb hooks only, up to size 4. Bent hooks (long shank curved hooks) are not allowed. Maximum of 3 rods per angler. Only safe rigs utilising a proper lead discharge systemare allowed. Fixed leads are not allowed.
Bait droppers can be used but please respect other anglers.
Sacking of fish is prohibited.Seed baits are not permitted unless purchased from scarper carper. STRICTLY NO TIGER NUTS OR PEANUTS.
Cooked maize is permitted if prepared in advance of your holiday, and shown to the bailiff on arrival.

No cooking of particle, maize or pulses onsite. Large unhooking mats to be used at all times, carp cradles recommended.

Please treat the fish with respect. Keep handling to a minimum when weighing and photographing your catch, and return fish to the water as soon as possible.
Absolutely no litter. This includes cigarette butts. Please use the bins provided.
Please use the toilets provided onsite, defecating around the lake will not be tolerated.
Drunken behaviour will not be tolerated.
Any angler not respecting these rules, the fish, environment, fellow guests or staff will be asked to leave. We will not pay any costs this may incur.
